New Sounds Skool offers early childhood music & movement classes, workshops, and sound circles that spark curiosity, build skills, and turn joyful chaos into early learning magic. Caregivers, your inner child is invited too!
🎵 Friends, we soft-launched New Sounds Skool in late Summer 2025, and some personal experiences such as two floods and newborn baby slowed us down a bit. Since then, David has been busy performing music, teaching in Public Schools and parenting, but now is ready to dive back into New Sounds Skool!!! Please share our program with art galleries, schools, libraries, music studios, and public spaces! We continue to offer pop-up classes, sound circles, and summer workshops, so follow along!

🎵 NSS is BACK at ILYouth2 in Lloyd Center Mall!! This Summer Camp is for friends between 7–11 years old. Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, 2026. A five-day “experimental music starter pack” where each day explores a different way of making and thinking about sound—from building contact-mic junk instruments to sampling, radio, field recording, and performance. Together, we’ll create our own instruments, recordings, and a collaborative “concept album,” while experimenting with how music can come from everyday objects, places, and ideas. The week ends with a playful, semi-improvised performance shaped by the group’s discoveries, open to all levels of experience and curiosity.
